Dacia
The Automobile Dacia S.A is a Romanian car maker who belongs to the Renault group. It is named after a historic region of present-day Romania. This world-renowned  car company has been infamous for producing two models of cars, the Dacia Logan and Dacia Solenza. The Dacia Logan is sold under the brand of Renault (Renault Logan). Dacia is much likely known in manufacturing older models, which are no longer being built.

Like any other car logos company, it was not very long since the last Dacia’s car logo changed. The new Dacia car logo comes with a vision in solving of the brand issues, on the other hand, take good advantage of the opportunities that the business has.

They solve problems that are related to a confound of old graphic language, which is identical to target younger generations and teen’s minds such as being more active but less masculine. For these visions, Dacia designed their car logo using their family crests and signs with fresh word mark letter’s  that will be presented in a more rounded and simple composition plus details that are less rigid and more aggressive as if it is more accessible to a target of not missing the right customer target, the fragile women.

The old logo found to be crafted with heraldic-looking and hard to decipher design, especially in the foreign countries.  To induce and make more global opportunities, Dacia decided to make their logo appeal with a more international look that would mean simplicity and affordable.

In September 1999,  Renault, group bought Dacia, with a wide optimistic view of making Romania its focal point of developing an automobile industry in both regions of Central and Eastern Europe. In 2002, Dacia sold 53,000 vehicles and holds an almost 50% market share in a whole country. Moreover, between the years of 1995 and 2000, they sold 1310 vehicles.
