Welcome to car-logos.org. By using this website you agree to these terms. They are short, and they are written to be read.
What this site is
Car Logos is an independent, editorial encyclopedia of car badges. We describe the history and meaning of car logos for information and education. We are not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any car manufacturer.
Trademarks and logos
All car logos, brand names and trademarks shown on this site belong to their respective owners. They appear here for identification and commentary only. Nothing on this site grants you any right to use a manufacturer’s logo. If you are a rights holder and believe an image is used improperly, please email us and we will respond promptly.
Our text and images
The articles on this site are written by us and are protected by copyright. You may quote short passages with a link back to the page. You may not copy whole pages, republish our text elsewhere or present it as your own. Photographs are used under their respective licences, which are noted on the page where a credit is required.
Accuracy
We check our facts against the carmakers’ own sources and reliable independent sources, and we say so when something is a popular theory rather than an official explanation. Even so, we cannot promise that every page is complete, current or free of mistakes. The content is provided as is, for general information, and should not be relied on for legal, commercial or design decisions. If you spot an error, please let us know by email.
Links and embedded content
Pages link to manufacturers’ websites and other sources, and may embed videos from YouTube. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or their handling of your data. Embedded videos load only after you accept cookies; see our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from reliance on its content.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
