This policy explains what information car-logos.org collects when you visit the site and how it is used. We collect as little as possible. You don’t need an account to use the site, and we don’t sell personal data.
Information we collect
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page you requested and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site running and secure.
- Security and performance. The site is delivered through Cloudflare and protected by a security plugin. They may process your IP address and set strictly necessary cookies to block malicious traffic.
- Messages you send us. If you contact us, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply to you.
Cookies and embedded videos
We use a small number of cookies. Some are strictly necessary, for example to remember your cookie choices or your accessibility settings. Others are only used if you agree to them in the cookie banner.
Many brand pages include a YouTube video. These videos are blocked until you accept cookies, because YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect information about your visit when a video is loaded. You can read more in Google’s privacy policy.
For the full list of cookies and to change your choice at any time, see our Cookie Policy.
Advertising and analytics
The site does not currently show ads or use analytics tools. If that changes, this policy and the cookie banner will be updated before any such tool is switched on.
How long we keep information
Server and security logs are kept only for as long as our providers need them for security and maintenance. Messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your request.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to its use, and to withdraw your consent to cookies at any time. To make a request, please email us. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to carmakers’ official websites and other sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, so please check their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
