Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 17 October 2026

We want everyone to be able to read about car logos, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This statement explains what we have done to make car-logos.org accessible, what still needs work, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

Our standard

The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, which is also the basis of the Israeli standard SI 5568 and the Israeli accessibility regulations for websites. We are working through the site page by page, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing job rather than a one-time fix.

What we have done

  • Every page has one main heading and a logical heading structure, so screen readers can jump between sections.
  • Logos and photos have alternative text that describes what they show.
  • The whole site can be used with a keyboard alone, including the menus, the brand filters and the logo game.
  • Text and background colours meet the WCAG contrast ratio, and text can be enlarged in the browser without breaking the layout.
  • The layout adapts to phones and tablets, with no horizontal scrolling.
  • An accessibility toolbar (the icon at the bottom right of every page) lets you enlarge or reduce text, switch to grayscale, high contrast or negative contrast, use a light background, underline links and switch to a more readable font.
  • Videos are embedded from YouTube, where captions can be turned on in the player.

Known limitations

  • Some older brand pages have not yet been rewritten and may have less descriptive image text. We are updating them one by one.
  • Captions and audio description on embedded videos depend on what the video’s publisher provides on YouTube.
  • The “Guess the logo” game relies on recognising an image. Each logo page also describes the emblem in words.
