Honda Motor Company Ltd. is a Japanese multinational company known for as the largest manufacturer of automobiles and motorcycles and combustion engines. It was founded by Soichiro Honda in 1948. Being a self-taught engineer and mechanic, he created motor bikes out of simple bicycles. These bikes solved the transport issues of gasoline shortage during the World War II.
Today Honda is the largest manufacturer of motorcycles and the 3rd larges car manufacturer in the world. Products of the Honda Company include motorcycles, cars, power tools and marine equipment garden equipment, personal watercraft, power generators.
