hennessey car company logoHennessey Performance was born in 1991 because of John Hennessey’s enthusiasm, engineering creativity and dream of creating a car that will make his driving faster. In the first few years, he concentrated on modifying turbo charged imports such as ad Mitsubishi 3000GT, Toyota, Supra and Mazda RX7 in a rented garage.

In March 1993, a customer came in with a Viper and asked for John’s assistance to enhance his racing record. Soon, the car won in its class and hailed as fourth in the overall with the 164mph average at the Nevada Open Road Challenge. The Hennessey car was featured in car& driver, Motor trend, hot rod, etc. 

The modifications resulted to an increase of 100 more horsepower and were called as Hennessey Venom 500 Vipers. It drew the attention of many and invitations were given to join racing events. It had built cars for John Leno, Bob Lutz and Chrysler. In fact, Hennessey was dealing exclusively with V10 Chrysler’s super sports car. Then in 2005, once again a customer Don Goldman requested for a Ford GT above 200 mph as a high-performance  Ford GTs product by Hennessey.

Hennessey logo bears the name of its founder similar to other car logos like Ford, and Gillet. It is written on a cursive font usually in red or white. Though Hennessey logo is simple as it is, the brand never runs out of supporters like other car logos. Hennessey logo is usually attached to car bumpers as upgraders along with the original car logos like Chevrolet, and Ford.

One of the company’s famous creations is its Hennessey Venom GT. It is powered by General motors in 6.2 L (380 cu in) LS9 supercharged V8. The modified engine can produce 725bhp up to 1,200 bhp on twin-turbo charged variants. It is in line with the most powerful cars.

For two decades, the Hennessey Performance continues to expand and goal to provide ultimate performance for customers never changed. The company plans to build a network of Venom GT in the Middle East, Europe, Russia, Australia and Asia.
